Take Care Of Yourself

The mornings here in the Bay Area have been foggy and cool - you can tell it is winter in Florida. These bones feel the cold weather and need some TLC after a long day out and about. What to do??? Well, first a trip to one of the local Farmer's Markets! There I can pick up some fantastic local honey! I love honey on my peanut butter sandwich and in my tea!!! And what could be better than local honey from the Farmer's Market?

Many local towns have Farmer's Markets. Dunedin has one on Friday mornings, Safety Harbor has one Thursdays. These are the best places for local produce, including HONEY!

Then home with my treasure and into the kitchen to brew a pot of tea! Get the sprout bread out of the fridge and spread it with natural peanut butter. Next add that honey to the peanut butter AND to that cup of tea!!! Put on a pair of warm fuzzy socks and curl up to enjoy my special treat!!!

How do you take care of yourself when you need some TLC?????????????

AND eating local honey can reduce allergies.

Soup, soup is what I need when it's cold.  Have a bowl of soup, snuggle up with my daughter and watch a movie.  It does help warm us up that we have two enormous cats and a little dog who want to lay on us while we watch our movie.

Barbara-Jo,

C'mon... cold? In FL?? LOL, I remember it does get rather chilly at times. (I know I have no room to poke at you... being eternally "73 and sunny")

For TLC I love to bake... does anything smell better than homemade brownies?

Terry- the beer? Love it... though I'll take a margarita myself!

:-)

Terry - if it is beer, it has to be warm outside - and the beer has to be dark!

Patricia - that was the idea!

Emily - brownies - I have not had those in a while! And yes, it does get cold down here!!! Perhaps only a dozen days a year, but it does.
