I had to bring back this list which I had in a post back in July, 2011 titled Top 10 Reasons to use MY Preferred Lender! 

 

I recently had a deal with a certain bank doing the mortgage, that was in complete disarray! And, it absolutely did not need to be! There was no reason for it. This deal wasn't a distressed property, not a short sale, not a foreclosure. My buyer was your typical qualified fha purchaser. In fact, I would say that's one thing the bank did do correctly was pre-approve my buyer. The pre-approval was strong. Without going into too much of a rant here, because I can feel it coming. The highlights or lowlights were - very poor communication, closing was delayed for 2 full weeks making it 2 months from the time the offer was accepted to closing. Ok ..... I said I wasn't going to rant, so let's just leave it at that. We did close and my buyer client was very happy with their home in the end.

 

Here's my Top 10 List of reasons Why You Should Use One of My Preferred Lenders!

#10)  It's not always about who has the lowest rates and fees. There's a Lot to be said for good service.            

 #9)  My prefered lenders office is right down the hall from mine.

 #8)  My preferred lender will actually look at the purchase agreement before the 11th hour

 #7)  My preferred lender will not sit on your file until 5 days before the proposed closing date

 #6)  My preferred lender is experienced in conventional, fha, va loans and condominiums.

 #5)  My preferred lender wants my repeat business!

 #4)  I have my preferred lenders cell phone #

 #3)  I can text my preferred lender even after hours and I will get the answers I'm looking for!

 #2)  My preferred lender has very competitive rates

 #1)  My preferred lender will not only get you a great rate but will give you great customer service!

I think that all of us work with a few lenders that we know can get the job done. I am always uncomfortabe when we have to use a lender that does not know our market here. I like to have a "Go TO" person that I can trust.
