Is Great Advertising Killing Your Product?

Great Advertising Kills Bad Products

When I was a student at Syracuse University majoring in advertising, a professor once said that nothing kills a bad product or service faster than great advertising. What does that mean? It means that a great advertising campaign will convince droves of consumers to try the product or service, but if what you're selling is awful, then everyone will know pretty quickly and sales will cease.

Is There a Remedy?

What does that mean for the real estate industry? Well, if a listing has attracted numerous showings with no offers, (or no satisfactory ones), the buying public is telling you there is something wrong with the product. When that happens, the most obvious remedy is to drop the price. But maybe a better approach would be to improve the product.

You Don't Need Magic to Turn a Frog into a Prince

You may just need a Home Stager. Home Stagers are skilled at knowing what buyers want, identifying a home's best features, and making small changes to present the product in the most appealing manner. By improving the product, both buyers and sellers gain a better outcome: a better product at a fair price!

Love it, I often tell owners that they can do minor repairs and their home would sell faster and top dollar but most of the time they either don't believe or as in most cases don't want to work.
