My family and I stopped by a new trendy restaurant in Eindhoven. They were introduced to Lundi in Eindhoven with a coupon from Groupon, which has offers and locations all over the world.
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by this experience. The restaurant is intimate, clean and the service great, but most importantly the food presentation was amazing. Fresh and varied. Sushi is made fresh on the spot, Italian food was prepared by an Italian chef; they even had woks to cook what patrons placed on their plates which I liked because I like lean and vegetarian dishes. The food selection varied from typical Dutch food such as stampot (cooked carrots and potatoes stamped together) and boerenkool (cooked kale and potatoes pureed together) to French, Italian, Japanese, etc. They had a salad bar, icream bar, fruit and dessert bar, candy bar, coffee, tea, fresh juice, smoothie bar and much more.
They charge a flat starting at 25 Euro per person which includes everything except alcoholic beverages which are extra. Patrons can visit and eat from 2 to 3 hours depending on your selection. One requirement is that you only place as much as you eat on your plate and not waste any food (you will be charged extra if you do so.)
