What I Love About Real Estate!!

By
Real Estate Agent

Meeting with clientsIt all comes down to helping people.

Someone asked me to describe what I love about working in real estate. Every sentence I started began with the words, "I like helping people...".

In this sometimes sarcastic and cynical world, I imagine some people saying, "Oh, isn't that nice," and rolling their eyes. Uhm...yeah, well it's true.

Maybe it's because I'm the oldest in my family. If you were born first you understand what I mean. I genuinely like helping people.

Selling or buying a house can be overwhelming and time consuming, even if you've done it before. As a trusted REALTOR®, I give people the information they need so they can make good decisions. I like to put my expertise to work for people. I know how to market houses and I understand the local real estate market.

Realtor helping clients sell a homeDeciding to sell your house, or falling in love with a house you want to buy are emotional decisions. You, your spouse or partner, your children and even your pets, may have a difficult time with the decision. As your REALTOR®, I can help you achieve your goal to either sell or buy a  home, guide you through the process and timeline, negotiate on your behalf and demystify terms. I am available to answer questions and to get you the information you need.

Most of all, I like helping people with the place they call home.

You have to enjoy people in this business. My passion is the houses themselves and finding the right person for that property. But ultimately, the smile on a new home owner's face is priceless!

I think you have to have a spirit of helpfulness to be in this business and to be really good at it.  Makes perfect sense to me :)!

Hi, Colleen...sort of like being a house matchmaker! :)

Happy Sunday, Brenda! Anyone in a service industry has to want to be helpful. Some people may call it "problem solving" but the result is the same!

Hi, Praful...you're right that staying connected is a key to being remembered. Good service and helpfulness goes a  long way, but memories fade over time.
