We Have A New Elephant!!

That is really cool of you to do that Shar. And I love elephants. I'm so sorry the first one didn't make it. Isn't that amazing how all the elephants welcomed her. I wish people were more like that.

OMG Shar, this Baby Baguda is absolutely delicious-I too love elephants and enjoyed working with them a bit in Thailand on a trip to an elephant sanctuary where they paint-in Chang Mai-they are glorious creatures and you are so lucky to have another foster child.

I have loved elephants since I was a small child and I have spent years watching the elephants at the National Zoo. This is the greatest charity I have seen and am so glad you posted about it. I am going to sit down with my family tonight a pick an elephant to foster. It is so sad what is happening with poaching and I'm so glad there is something we can do to help.

Shar, I didn't know you adopted elephants. I just went back and read your earlier post and watched the video. How very sweet and rare.

Shar this is wonderful....I love watching the video of the other elephants taking care of this sweet little baby. I'm so glad you shared this with us - totally awesome.

Shar - I've been waiting for this post and wasn't disappointed!  Balguda looks adorable.  How sweet, the way he was accepted and cuddled by the new herd.  Looks like this little elephant has a long and happy life ahead of him.  Congratulations to his proud mama!
