City of Brampton's Annual Tree Lighting 2012
The Main Street of Brampton is already bright with sparkling trees and decorations along the boulevards, but we aren't ready to welcome the big guy in the red suit until the main Christmas tree is lite.
Come and help the City of Brampton as it prepares for Christmas by lighting up the City Hall's 60 foot spruce tree with over 15,000 twinkling lights at the Ken Whillans Square!
The fun and entertainment of the official tree lighting begins at 6:00 p.m. Friday November 16th and continues through til 9:00 p.m.
See the ice sculptures, get your photo taken in Santa's sleigh and meet his reindeer, take part in the cookie decorating and crafts and don't forget to check out the Kids Zone over at Gage Park across the street from the City Hall.
Bring along a non-perishable food item and/or new toy for the Toys for Tots Campaign.
City of Brampton's Annual Tree Lighting 2012
Al and Peggy, the Brampton Annual Tree Lighting event sounds like a wonderful start into the holiday season! Enjoy!
Hi Al and Peggy, I must say that one of my favorite holiday events is a tree lighting-and often they are done differently each year-combined with Toys for Tots, this should be a wonderful experience for all.
Wow...where has the year gone Al/Peggy?! This Friday will be a fun time in Brampton with the Annual Tree Lighting event. I know the kiddies will be excited.
Al and Peggy,
I too have to wonder where the year went, if you're already having tree lighting ceremonies.

Al and Peggy, sounds like a great time for the whole family and start off the Christmas Season with some inexpensive fun.
And the holidays are upon us! We just had 70 degrees today here in New Hampshire, hard to believe it's tree lighting time!
Al & Peggy, I've seen signs of the holidays lately...a little too early for me, pretty soon we'll be lighting Christmas trees in June or at least seeing houses decorated by then.
Al and Peggy we also have a tree lighting but it is after Thanksgiving. Hope you get to go and see the lights come on.
Al & Peggy - While stores around here have all their holiday decorations out I haven't seen any homes have them up yet or our streets.
I'm all for the Christmas season, but I would still prefer the lights on after I digest my Thanksgiving turkey, not before
Man, Oh Man! A 60 foot Christmas Tree. That must be something to see!! I hope you get to go!
