Buying a Home in Kansas City's Red Bridge Neighborhood
Many Kansas City homebuyers want to have the best of all worlds – close proximity to the hub of the activity of the city – The Country Club Plaza, Crown Center, Crossroads, downtown’s Power & Light Entertainment District, Brookside Shops, Waldo shops & restaurants, Martin City restaurants and shops AND a peaceful, well maintained neighborhood. Red Bridge offers just that – 15-20 minutes from most of these areas.
The Red Bridge neighborhood is not just the subdivision only, but the general area south of I-435, west to State Line Rd, east just past Holmes Rd. and south to 135th St. in Martin City. South Kansas City homes, Red Bridge in particular, offer the perfect combination of winding streets with mature trees, well maintained 3-5 Bedroom homes with mostly 2 car garages and houses built in the 70’s and newer. Located mostly in the Center School District, we have several institutions of higher learning, too. Since I live in the area, I can say that I love that the area is well balanced with events/activities, housing styles and is also economically diverse.
