Pleasant Valley is a quiet neighborhood on the west side of Colorado Springs. It is located next to Garden of the Gods Park, Rock Ledge Ranch and Old Colorado City. Can you say Location, Location Location?
The school district for Pleasant Valley is D-11 and the direct feeder schools for the neighborhood are Howbert Elementary, Holmes Middle School and Coronado High School.
Built mostly in the 1950s, the homes have a charm about them. The townhomes in the neighborhood were built in the 1990s. Many people who live in Pleasant Valley tell me that you can't beat the "community feel" of the neighborhood. Within Pleasant Valley, is Valley Swim Club where a lot of the residents like to spend time in the summer. This is a private club where you can obtain a membership for a fee.
