Grateful for Books in this Season of Gratitude

Does that sound silly to some of you?  Do some of you think back to school and being forced to read with dread?

For me, books have always been a thing of joy.  There's so much to learn, so many friends to meet.  Does that mean that I always enjoy every book I've ever read?  Far from it, though there have been so many thousands that I have enjoyed reading through the years.

Lots of Books

Today, I am reading a budget book, a book on improving my business, one on deep sea recovery of a shipwreck and also one I like to refer to as a beach book (bestseller type fiction).

I am working to install this same love in my children.

How about you?  Are you a book lover too?

I just wish I had time to read! I have several books I'm working on, but really need to designate more time to reading. Busy busy busy.  Would like it if you'd share some of your favorites.

Christine,

I am a book lover though don't find a lot of time to read these days.  I tend to collect them though in hopes that someday I'll find that time!!!

I've always enjoyed reading as well.  Like the other stated - haven't had much time to read of late.  Super busy!

Christine, I love reading books! I just finished up the 4 Hour Body, by Tim Ferriss. Great book. Started on the Primal Blueprint a few days back. Love to learn new things!

I am a huge book lover.  I have a kindle and tons of books around the house.  It is finding the time that is the trouble.

Cynthia - It seems we never have enough time.  I'll see if I can put a list together.

DeeDee -  I figure keeping them close by makes it easier when we find time.

Ki - Lack of time seems to be the theme.

Eric -  That's one I want to read.

Debra - Time seems to be an issue for all of us.

Like you, I've always enjoyed reading.  I haven't embraced the Kindle thing yet as I still love to turn the pages and feel the paper between my fingers.  someday I will cross-over... :)

Additionally, I really enjoy having a large bookcase wherever I live...it just feels good!
