Blogging Ideas
I want to thank Frank & Karen Baker for referring me to this post. It has some amazing new ideas, new to me anyway, that are giving me some great ideas for new posts.
If you are serious about blogging, you need to do it on a regular basis. It becomes fun until you run into the proverbial "writer's block". There are so many ideas here and links to more ideas in the end that I am excited to sit at my computer and "blog".
More blogging ideas for the New Year

If one of your goals is to write more during 2012, here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing. I love to make lists of Blogging Ideas, so at the end of this article are previous lists of Blogging and Localism Blogging Ideas (some of them may be duplicated). There are hundreds of ideas here and linked in this blog, so now you have NO excuses!
- When you are done with 2012, what 5 things do you want to have accomplished?
- What caught your eye (or interest) today?
- Do you have a niche? Write about businesses in that niche
- Use numbers ~ "5 Ways to . . ." or "7 Things to . . ." or "10 Places to . . ."
- What famous person (present or past) would you like to spend a day with? Why?
- Do an "expert" interview. Make a video of it
- If only I had . . .
- What is your favorite part of your job?
- What is your least favorite part of your job?
- What is something you want to implement in your business?
- Write a localism 'series' on coffee shops, restaurants, theaters, book stores, etc.
- I am frustrated by . . .
- Something I need to change in my business
- What worked for you in 2011? What didn't?
- What other job would you want if you didn't do what you do?
- What 'blinders' do you wear?
- Are you intuitive? Do you trust it?
- When are you most productive? Is that when you work?
- When is a time that you wish you had listened better?
- When did you help someone and it backfired?
- Wonderful childhood memory
- If you could be like anyone else, who would it be? Why?
- How do you keep track of your daily "To Do" tasks?
- Write about "The one that got away" (house, person, job, deal, etc.)
- What do you do to 'get back in the game' when business slows down?
- What is your favorite holiday? Why? What are your traditions surrounding it?
- Share your favorite hints that you use on ActiveRain (or MLS, or your blog, etc.)
- What is your favorite area in your town? Write about it
- Write short articles about different areas of your town. Add video
- People like stats ~ give it to them (HONEST stats - LOL)
- Write about your favorite park
- Do you have a Designated Driver program in your town? Write about it
- Find questions (Realtor.com, Trulia, etc.) and answer one for an article
- What job did you hold before you became what you are today?
- What is your best marketing tool?
- Which marketing tool should you get rid of? Why?
- Tell about your favorite possession and what it means to you
- Tell about your favorite house (current or past)
- Tell a story that makes you angry when you think of it (it will help to heal you)
- Are there free things for kids to do in your town? Write about them
- What was your favorite business that closed down?
- What is the best place to get married in your town? Write about it
- What business/person do you admire? Write about it/them
- Tell about an enjoyable deal with another Realtor
- Without naming names, tell about how a Realtor made a deal difficult
- What is (are) your favorite techie gadget(s)?
- Do you have a unique 'list' that you use in your business? Tell us about it
- Are you part of a BNI (Business Network International)? Has it been profitable for you?
- If a person in your life died today, what would you regret most that you hadn't done?
- Who is your favorite person on ActiveRain? Why? (or post for each of your favorites)
- What are you going to change about your business this year?
- What was the best class you took?
- What is your favorite quotation? Picture? Story? Write about it
- What made you enter your current profession?
- What was your favorite job that you had? Write about it
- What is your greatest fear?
- Do you self-sabotage in certain situations? Tell us about it. Can you change it?
- What do you obsess about?
- Write about a time that you were really happy or sad
- What are you most proud of in your job?
