“Give Hunger the Bird”! Post Falls Food Bank fundraiser was a great success on Saturday! The final dollar amount will not be in until Friday and Sherry Wallis director of the Post Falls Food Bank wants to thank everyone who participated.
The generosity of this community is just unbelievable she says. So far this year the Post Falls Food Bank has distributed over 1.3 million pounds of food to people in our community in need.
There still is a huge need with over 1075 families registered for help with Thanksgiving Dinner. You can donate food or write a check and if you write a check Sherry says with her buying power she can double and sometimes triple the amount of food with these dollars.
