Love to be a Realtor here in Treasure Island Fl. and got reminded of that yesterday.
Usually our days are pretty hectic and long. Tons of e mails to answer, phone calls to make solving problems with home inspection, surreys, termite inspections, lenders, mortgage brokers, negotiating deals and renegotiating deals, hunting down condo docs and sending out applications etc.
I would say in average 90% of a Realtor"s job ( and not just in Treasure Island) is solving problems and making sure things go ok so our buyers and sellers are happy and can go to closing.
Well yesterday Manny came to the office around 10 am (after already working from home for 3 hours) it was a slow day, we had a lot of catching up to do but nothing that needed to be done ASAP.
All of a sudden she looked at me and said, "do you think we have time to go for breakfast?" Long story short, we ended up at Caddy's waterfront restaurant here in Treasure Island and we had a great time, enjoying the view of the beach, feeling the sun on our skin, talking to other guests in the restaurant and having an early lunch.
This reminded me, doesn't matter how stressful our job can be, it also gives us a lot of freedom and flexibility. Treasure Island is a place where people come on vacation and we are lucky enough to live here. Life is good.
