How Can I Sell My Long Island NY Home When Living Out of State?
Find a local Long Island NY real estate agent that will be willing to check on the house for you every day for starters.
I have taken vacant listings where the homeowners lived out of state whether it was for a job transfer or an estate sale.
I was interviewed by phone and sent the listing agreement along with other paperwork via email/fax. Yes, it was that easy.
Last year I had three vacant listings at one time and checked on them daily. The neighbors all knew to keep an eye out as well and to call me if there were any problems. Luckily, I never received a call.
So, find a local Long Island NY real estate agent, interview them and ask for references too. If all is okay then relax knowing it will work out while you are living out of Long Island.
