Coming to Macon County Franklin NC 8-field baseball & softball complex 2013
Macon County Franklin, NC has placed an offer to purchase the 48 acre Parker Meadows Farm to construct an 8-field, double-cloverleaf baseball/softball complex with space for additional recreation facilities. Franklin, NC plans to build a facility that you will be proud of and one that will host our local sports teams as well as weekend tournaments. The expected economic influx to Macon County - over $6 million annually.
The town of Franklin, NC expects to close the deal in December and begin construction early in 2013.
