Let's Face It...Something Important is Missing
Thanks Mona for your comments on this new thing happening on Active Rain. When rules change I would hope AR would tell us so we have an idea of what to expect. I also like the pictures of people because it allows me to feel closer to everyone. There is nothing like a smile to compliment a blog post. AR bring back the pictures!
What's going on with the face thumbprint photos in the comment sections of the posts? Is there some sort of non-Rainmaker classist discrimination thing going on? Has anyone else noticed that our friends' faces who are active members but non-Rainmakers no longer have their photos showing?Personally? I don't like it one bit. Have the rules changed? I remember passing the first 10,000 point mark and becoming "visible" to people when my photo showed up with the comments. It was kind of like a rite of passage. I love looking at everyone else's photo next to their comments, it's very much like seeing a friend at a social event.The outside world tries hard enough to divide us up into different classes and I'd hate to see the same thing happening here in ActiveRain. I really hope this is just some quirky AR glitch and will be fixed soon.Let's face it...this face off thing has me bummed big time. What do you think?
