If the HUD listing that your client is interested in is a HomeTelos property, you can save yourself time and confusion by using the HomeTelos fillable contract package. Fill out the basic contract information by answering questions, and that info is then used to auto-populate the forms.
Auto-populating on a fillable contract also saves you time as it puts the correct case #, buyer’s name, and other information on each page, thereby reducing the chance of errors and saving you from having to hand-write the same information multiple times. Another benefit is the fact that when you save a completed copy, you don't have to start from scratch for later revisions. You can edit any of the forms in the package without having to re-write the documents again.
Follow the steps below to prepare the HUD contract package:
1. Go to www.homeTelosFirst.com. If you have not yet registered on the HomeTelos website, you will need to do that first. Go to the bottom of that web page for instructions. After you have registered, complete the steps below
2. Click “Real Estate Professionals” located about a third of the way down the home page, directly below the green bar.
3. To the left, you will see 5 icons with a description next to each. Click the first one at the top that says “My HUD Contracts”. You will complete your contract here and this will auto-populate your contract and all of your addendums. Please bookmark the Contracts page.
