Scrapbooking is a hobby that many people enjoy. Some are very artsy and fussy about their layouts; others less so.
I am not so artsy, but I do enjoy the process of organizing, sorting, and then arranging photos on a page. I am too impatient to do that much embellishment. One can also arrange scrapbook paper or fabric memorbilia, such as tickets, brochures, programs, even pretty scraps of paper or fabric.
Scrapbooking is a high touch activity that is satisfying and great for preserving your photos and memories of events and a way to express yourself, rather like blogging. Scrapbooking lends itself to being something that is fun to do as well in a group especially when there are door prizes!
A scrapbooking event with door prizes is being held Friday, November 30 6pm. to Midnight and Saturday December 1st 10 a.m. to Midnight at the Minter Church of Christ for a donation of $20 for the fundraiser for a familie's diabetic dog.
I recently started a new before and after staging album. I have done photo albums for Toastmasters, Vacations, Holidays, and of course friends and family.
One can do theme albums or chronological or just eclectic arrangements that make you happy!
Here is a photo of a tree in the park that intriques me that I will scrapbook!
