Starting December 16, 2012 at 1:30 p.m., The Coastal Research and Education Society of Long Island (CRESLI) will begin its Seal Walk season at Cupseogue Beach County Park at the western end of Dune Road in Westhampton Long Island.
The Walks will be held on Saturdays and Sundays through May 12, 2013. Approximately 1.2 miles, the walk takes about 1 to 2 ours. This time of the year, dress for cold weather as it plays a significant role in determining the Seal Walk schedule, so call ahead of time.
Suggested donations are $5.00 for Adults and $3.00 for Children 12 and under. (This supports CRESLI's ongoing seal research programs).
