I was cruzing around Active Rains google and came across this awesome and informative post that I thought this was a must read for our tight community of Active Rain Real Estate Professionals.
"Tools Kept in the Tool Box Don't Do Us Much Good"
I'm paraphrasing it a little bit, but that was the lesson learned in a recent preparatory Real Estate class. Our focus: Jump starting 2013
We're listening to a series of national speakers each week as we implement the steps towards our business plans of next year.
Tools kept in the tool box won't do us any good if we don't use them...
For some reason that brings to mind the many memories I have of pounding a nail in the wall with the handle of a butcher knife. Or the tip of a flexible paring knife used as a quick screwdriver.
You know, they don't do the job very well. There's a lot of misses.
So...what's in your business tool box?
Educational videos and seminars/webinars?
Resource books packed with information regarding our niche and real estate focus?
Statistics, market reports, real estate trends?
And better yet...what do we NEED in our tool box?
How about polished listing or buyer's agent presentations?
What about certifications in HUD homes, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resources, or specialty designations?
Social media: Videos, Facebook business, Google+, Pinterest, Twitter?
What tools do you need to make the most of 2013?
Better start packing that tool box now...
