Twinkies are not the only thing people are crying over/

How about jobs?

 
Hostess, Drakes, Dolly Madison are some of the more popular Hostess brands that will be sold in the bankruptcy.
 
There are other Hostess trademark products that will be sold like Wonder, Nature's Pride, Merita, Home Pride, Beefsteak and Butternut.
 
Now stop and think for a moment about the closure of 33 bakeries, 565 distribution centers and 570 bakery outlet stores.

All these people will be out of a job who work there.
 
How about the 5,500 delivery routes ... no jobs for the drivers.  

There will be an estimate of 18,500 people out of work due to the bankrupcty of the Hostess company.

Now these are Real Issues of Concern!!
Not how much you can sell your Twinkies on eBay for??!!

Thats a lot of jobs effecting alot of mortgages, at least it will be spread out over the US.

nobody wants to see higher unemployment right now, its a shame.

I believe I had a heard  rumors last year that twinkies and Hostess were going under very sad state of affairs

With all the hoopla about missing Twinkies and other delights I only heard jobs mentioned ONCE byt the media.  So sad that we are more concerned about not having a Twinkie.

Hostess had already been in bankruptcy and a venture capitalist put $130 million in the company to try and get it going again. Costs were to high and they could not bring them down, so they did not throw good money after bad. Too bad those unions didn't have the same pull with Congress and the Pres so they could get a bailout, too.
