A New and novel Docusign idea. I have been reading in various states that there has been voter fraud. In this day and age I am really disheartened by this. Voting is a fundamental aspect of our system of government. In this day of technology, it is equally disheartening that there cannot be a fair and honest system for voting. I am saddened that Americans feel the need to “cheat” in order to get a particular candidate elected. I did some online research on the subject and I was dismayed that there are so many proven instances of voter fraud.
Sooo, that is where Docusign could play a pivotal role in this process!! For example, Docusign knows if you already signed documents so the same person could not vote twice. It is surprising how many people vote twice. Further, we would know who voted and who did not. People could vote from home or their office. It would not be more convenient. There could be a two week voting period.
Alas, there are those that would argue that this will disenfranchise voters. PLEASE, photo voter IDs SHOULD be mandatory...if you have to leave your home to vote, you can leave your home to get an ID and you would have months and months to get one. Anyway, Docusign stations could be established all over municipalities. I understand that many people do not have a computer or internet access. But these same people do not hove voting booths in their living room either. They have to go somewhere to vote!! They have computers virtually anywhere and the voters could go anywhere and place their vote through Docusign. It would also be quick and easy because an approved voting station would only need a copy of Docusign and it is quick and easy to download and install.
When I started to write this, I was trying to amuse everyone…. but the more I thought about it, the more I like the idea of Docusign voting!!!
