Read this before you buy or rent a condo at the American Towers Condos in Salt Lake City. I’m going to go over the good, the bad, and the ugly so that you know what you are getting into at the American Towers Condos.

The American Towers Condos in Salt Lake City are best known for one thing: The hot tub up on the roof of both towers. I have to admit, this is a truly awesome feature that is unmatched by any other community in the downtown area. You can sit in the hot tub and see the entire Salt Lake valley. If you were to ask someone in the area if they know where the American Towers Condos are, they would probably reply by saying, “Is that the place that has the hot tubs up on the roof?”.

In addition to the hot tubs, the American Towers Condos in Salt Lake City also has quite a few other amenities, including racquetball courts, a swimming pool, a sauna, a fitness center, an underground parking garage, a huge party area with a bathroom and a kitchen, a library, and onsite security. The amenities are great as long as you don’t mind paying for them.

The location of the American Towers Condos in Salt Lake City is excellent. Located at 48 W Broadway (300 S) in Salt Lake City, the Towers are right in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. As far as the location, this is arguably the best placed condo community in the downtown area.

Pricing:$180,000 - $700,000
HOA Fee: $290 - $ 450/month (depending on the unit) Most units are $439/month

The Good:
Excellent location. Can’t beat it.
Very good amenities.
Very well maintained building. The American Towers Condos in Salt Lake City were built in 1985 but looks and feels much newer.
Excellent security. There are onsite security officers that patrol the building as well as video surveillance throughout the building. You feel very safe.
Underground parking is nice and secure. You can also get validations so that your friends can come and park in the garage.

The Bad:
Being built in 1985, some of the units are very outdated on the inside
Parking can be a pain in the butt. The garage is nice and secure, but if you have a lot of people coming over for a party, you will see what I mean.

Condos at the American Towers in Salt Lake City are actually reasonably priced compared to some of the other communities. A 1 bedroom, 950 sq ft condo can be found as low as $225,000 from time to time, the larger 2 bedrooms units range from $250,000 up to over $600,000 and range in size from about 1300 sq ft to over 2300 sq ft.

The towers were not built in 1985; they were a filming location for the 1983 Sho Kosugi film 'Revenge of the Ninja.'

exactly. Those film was created 1983 on the roof of this building. For interesting in SLC is popular fountain from this film (next to the wallace bennett federal buidling). have a look...
