Frindle is Hankish

By
Real Estate Attorney

This post is two fold:

 First...

I would like to recommend a book to all of those 7-10 year olds reading this post..... you know who you are!  The book is called Frindle and is about a boy that decides he is going to make up his own word.  Both of my kids loved this book.... and both my wife and I also read it.

Second...

I forgot to include information on my last post that I thought would work well on this one.  My previous post is about my kids who made up there own word.  (See the connection!?)  The word is 'hank'.  I'm not going into how the word came to be.... you can read about 'hank' here.... but I neglected to include that this word has been adjectiveized.  (That's MY word!).  The adjective version of 'hank' is 'hankish'.

Do you know any people that are 'hankish'?  I have often been called so.

I love Frindle!  It's such a great book.  I recommend any Andrew Clements book for your kids.

You are just a crazy human being.  I saw the Hank post the other day and didn't have a chance to read it until tonight.  Love reading your blogs but can't adopt the new word - special stuff!!

We play "snaggarge" with our kid.  they walk by, and you unexpectedly grab them - and say "Guess Whose Here?"...  You don't let em go until they guess who!!

I hate to admit it but I believe that I fit the description often.  As kids we used to make up words a lot.
