Funny how things work out sometimes.
I received a contract from an agent yesterday and it had a lender letter with it, which is always a good thing. I always call the lender to check on the loan (it was a closing date under 30 days). Funny the lender’s phone number was wrong. I called the office number and got a voicemail that she was out. I called the agent and asked if he had another phone number for her. He gave me another number. I called it and got her voice mail and I left a message that I needed to confirm if she can get the loan done by the date of the contract. No phone call back all night.
Another contract came in 2 hours later with better terms and price. Still no phone call back from first lender. After we discussed it with our client, they went with the second contract. If the lender would of called back maybe they would of got the deal. Lender called back today at 9:45 Too bad and too late.
