El Paseo - Palm Desert's Answer To Rodeo Drive

Rolls

I've been in Indian Wells all week, on the outskirts of Palm Springs. Today I drove to El Paseo and spent about an hour strolling. It reminded me a lot of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Ritzy shops, salons and restaurants every where you turn. If you're ever in the area, it's a great place to pass some time. Not only that, it's a mere hour and a half from Murrieta.

It would be my honor to show you the incredible Temecula Valley, a place I’m very proud to call home.

Linda - Of course it is ;-). How do you like it?

Bill - It was an enjoyable hour. I love people watching.

Tom - Palm Desert is northeast of Murrieta. BTW, that's my Silver Shadow.  I left the Corniche and the Bentley at home.

Chris - What a drag. You'd enjoy El Paseo.

I have been on El Paseo many times while spending time in Palm Springs.  Great area to visit and shop.  However, credit cards with high credit limits are a must!  :)

This is one of my favorite places on the earth too!  Thursday nights - somewhere close to there - they close the main street down for a crafts fair - FUN!  I hadn't thought about how close you are to Palm Springs - envious!

Hi Tom,
Sounds like an area I would love but I would need to leave my credit card at home or else I might get in trouble in the boutiques.

Cynthia - You could easily get into trouble on El Paseo. It's great for window shopping, though.
