I want to thank all my ASP friends for their thoughts and prayers these last couple months. My live-in (former husband) passed away very unexpectedly in November. This man was more than an EX!!! He was my support throughout the start-up of my business. He was my advisor, confidante and friend. And more than that - he was my ASSISTANT!! He drove the truck, loaded and unloaded the truck and knew exactly where I wanted things put when we arrived at each job. As a consequence, when he died, I thought I could not be a stager anymore and did sell off some of my inventory. But, as of now, I have done 2 new stages. I do have to hire a moving company now, (so need to charge a little more) but I feel confident that I CAN continue to do a good job staging (with a little help from my friends).
So - I'm back in the saddle again and hoping for a great 2008!!!! And, again, thank all you Portland ASP's for your understanding during this grieving time.
