I haven't, ever reallybeen sick. Honestly, I can't ever remember being so sick I could not get ot of bed and fulfill my obligations to my employer. I'm not the type to call in sick to work (back when I had a "real" job). I just toughed it out and went in and performed as best I could. Don't think I ever spread my germs so badly that I started an epidemic.
But, last night, today and especially right now; I AM SICK. I have the sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever and I need rest very soon so this blog post will be short. I know, that line is from a Vicks Nyquil commercial from years past, but I am giving them credit!
Today I pushed on and accomplished nearly everything I intended, but now is the time to give it up and succumb to the situation!
I know the Boss fairly well and he has given his blessing to call it an early night! Fortunately, I have no clients to disappoint or reschedule tomorrow and can work quite adequately from my bed or lounge chair with my cell phone and wireless laptop in case anything dire comes up, other wise I see a long medicated sleep in my near future!
