Black Friday , or the day after Thanksgiving has become a major event for some. Now the way i see it on Thanksgiving you have a home full of family and friends. You eat a bunch, maybe watch the Lions game, and drink some too. Then after the clean up you waddle off to bed only to get up at 4 am to go shopping.

You could get together the next day and ...
Hike through the North Georgia Mountains. This great stream meanders through the Wildcat recreation area. It is about a 3 minute ride from the North Gate of Big Canoe
One of the great things about walking this time of year is you can see through the woods. The mountains in the back ground frame this walk. So a group of us started out after breakfast on Black Friday and walked for about 3 hours. It is cool and the bugs are pretty much gone this time of year. So we are hiking in and out of shade in 60 degree low humidity weather. Or we could have been packed in with the mobs. "Tough: choice.

You could be hanging over a ledge to get a good picture of a pretty stream. The downside was that one of the hikers was a doctor and mentioned that the human body was made to walk. Then he explained how much of the dinner the day before we were buring off. Oh well we all had fun. The North Georgia Mountains are beautiful any time of year.
