When I first moved to Pasco County in 1982, one of the traditions that I came to love was Church Street Christmas in Dade City, Florida. This annual event is attended by both locals and visitors to the area. This year it will take place on December 21st to the 23rd from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Imagine a winter wonderland on one street where you can stroll and get into the holiday season with family and friends. Church Street will be populated with carolers, musicians, and dancers for your enjoyment. The sidewalks will even be lined with luminaries. And we haven't even spoken of the wonderfully decorated homes that are located on this historic street in Dade City.
They even give you free coffee, spiced cider and hot cocoa! What more do you need to get you into the spirit of the season? Even Ebenezar Scrooge would not be able to resist this!
So come out and have a great time just before the "big" day! For more information, you can visit the official website of Church Street Christmas by CLICKING HERE There you will find a schedule, photos from past celebrations, and contact information.
Don't let this chance to participate in a joyful local holiday event pass you by. I am sure that you will enjoy yourselves no matter which evening you plan to stroll up the sidewalks of Church Street, Dade City, Florida. Come and Celebrate with us!
