If you park on Elk River streets between 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., you WILL get a $30 parking ticket.
Because it snowed last Thursday, some people may still be unaware of the parking restrictions, which began on November 15 and will continue through April 15th, 2013. The restrictions are simple: no vehicle may be left parked on a public roadway in the city of Elk River between the hours of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.
The purpose of this restriction is to allow for the safe and efficient overnight removal of snow and ice as well as other seasonal road maintenance work.
So unless you want to fork over some of your hard-earned cash to the court, remember to find off-street parking for your vehicle overnight.
Stay safe out there and remember to move the vehicle at night to a safe location off-street.
