If you haven’t yet visited the Mesa, Arizona Mormon Temple during the Christmas season, you are in for a treat. A spectacular experience is in store
as one visits and views the temple grounds now through December 31, 2012. Everyone is invited, and it is one of the greatest light displays during Christmas in Arizona. I took these photos in 2008, but every year, the displays are even more beautiful!
There are literally thousands of colorful lights, uniquely illuminated palm trees and flower gardens, an inspiring nativity scene, other displays with recorded messages in English and Spanish and a modern Visitors’ Center open to all.
There is a Temple Lights Concert Series scheduled each evening at 7:00 p.m. on the North side of the Visitor Center lasting approximately 30 minutes. Early seating is encouraged. Come and spend time with your family and friends. Admission is FREE!
