Bronxville, NY 10708 should brace for fast moving snow storm this week.
We are expecting a mini-storm this weak that may spread some snow over most of Westchester County on Tuesday and continue into the early evening. This is not a big storm, with probably only an inch of snow in Bronxville, NY 10708 and towns south of I-287.
Forecasters are only calling for a bit of accumulation on non-paved surfaces in Bronxville and the lower Hudson valley towns and villages. Most roads throughout Westchester should just be a little wet, but look for slushy and slippery conditions, while this moderate snow falls.
Some travel delays are possible out of the Westchester County area, especially once the snowfall is greater during daylight hours on Tuesday. The road surface temperatures will stay above freezing and make it tougher for the white stuff to accumulate on roadways. By evening, we may see some slush on the roads, but this storm will also bring rain to some of the coastal areas.
Unlike the storm from a few weeks ago, this storm will not bring heavy snow to Sound Shore towns like Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle and City Ilse. Tuesday’s snow storm is more of a fast-moving, flat wave of low pressure, as opposed to the intensifying storm that stalled over us for a number of hours in mid-November.

Bronxville and Lower HUD towns, including our Rivertowns in Westchester are likely to pick up an inch or so from this fast moving storm.
