Fast and Easy Cheese Spread
Here's a quick and easy treat to serve those guests who will be dropping by to say hello during the holidays. Having something like this on hand makes entertaining easy peasy!!!

Fast and Easy Spread
I have neighbors and friends show up at the house sometimes and I always feel that I need to offer them something to snack on. This is one of those items that is good and does not take long.
Beer Cheese Spread.
1 - 8 ounce pkg. cream cheese
4 oz processed sharp cheese (Old English)
1 tablespoon chopped green onion tops
1/3 cup beer
1 teaspoon horseradish
½ teaspoon dry mustard
Melt cheese in a glass dish in microwave for 2 ½ minutes. Gradually beat in the remaining ingredients. Cook covered for 2 minutes in microwave, stirring a couple of time. Serve hot or cold with crackers. We prefer it cold but give both a try.
