Yesterday the world lost one of its great thinking minds and motivational geniuses, Zig Ziglar. So many of Mr. Ziglar's quotes and seminars had profound effects on my life, including the way I do things, how I behave, and even how I parent my children. He was one of those people that just "got it", and knew how to turn a phrase so that the rest of us could "get it". When I learned of his death yesterday, I stopped to reflect on his legacy and wondered if we would ever be able to measure his monumental impact on the world. Surely his words of wisdom and deeds will live on forever and a countless number of lives will be changed and improved because he walked this earth. What a truly amazing accomplishment, and gift to give mankind! Imagine if we were all lucky enough to live a life with such meaning, and how much better the world would be as a result. For everything he gave to me, although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I say, "thank you Zig Ziglar"!
