How Hard Can You Get Hit and Get Back Up!

By

The sixth installment of the Rocky franchise starring Sylvester Stallone hit theaters in 2006 entitled simply "Rocky Balboa." Many thought that a movie about a now sexagenarian Balboa (Stallone) who gets a shot to fight again against the current heavyweight champion to be far-fetched at best. The movie surprised most naysayers upon its release providing movie goers with an uplifting message about life, struggles and love.

In the scene below, Rocky's son confronts him about excepting an exhibition match against outspoken champ Mason "The Line" Dixon (Antonio Tarver).  His son asks his father to get out of the limelight and allow him to shine for once. Rocky gives one of the best speeches in movie history.

The Theme: "It's not about how hard you can hit! It's about how hard you can get hit and get back up!"  Enjoy

That is right on.  We all will get our licks sometime, and depends if we get back up.

Very True, Ray. When I started In Real Estate in 06', I was eager to get going, then the market took a nose dive and everything I was learning made no sense, I stuck with it, years later, now in the end of 2011 (like if it was just 5 months difference) I'm still here, though this crossroad is way different, hardly no homes for sales, It's like I didn't see it hit me again, Thanks for the motivation.

Ray, I totally agree! In our business you have to have a strong chin! It is also amazing how when you do pick yourself up after a big hit that one becomes better, stronger and wiser!
