Looking for something to do this weekend in Baldwinsville? There are lots of events in town that are sure to put you in the holiday spirit. We've had several cold days in a row, but the temperatures will be getting a littler warmer this weekend, so get out there and enjoy all that Baldwinsville has to offer!
Here's what's happening on Saturday in Baldwinsville
Tree Lighting festivities will begin at 4:30pm in the Town Center (the municipal parking lot) and will go until 8:30pm. The actual lighting of the tree will be at 5:30, so there will be plenty of time to walk around and enjoy the Village of Baldwinsville in all it's holiday glory.
The Cookie Walk is returning to Grace Episcopal Church on Oswego Street from 10:00am to 2:00pm. If you've been to the Cookie Walk in Baldwinsville before, you know it is a fabulous event, but many long-time residents are still in the dark as to what a "Cookie Walk" is. You walk around the displays of cookies that are set out, pick which ones you want, then buy them by the pound. Get there early for the best selection, then have a bite to eat at the Cafe which sells homemade soups and other treats.
Breakfast With Santa will be held at two different churches on Saturday, December 1st. The earliest one starts at 7:00am and goes until 11:00am at First United Methodist Church on W. Genesee Street just west of the four corners in Baldwinsville. First Presbyterian Church on Oswego Street one block north of the four corners is hosting Breakfast With Santa beginning at 8:30am.
Music will be in the air at Hillview Community Church at 7382 O'Brien Road, and also at St. Mark's Lutheran Church at 2840 Cold Springs Road. The Hillview Coffeehouse is presenting The Harvesters at 7pm who will be singing God's praises with a little southern gospel, some contemporary Christian, and of course traditional hymns as well. The Syracuse Vocal Ensemble will be giving a concert at St. Mark's from 3pm to 4pm.
With all there is to do in the Village of Baldwinsville this Weekend, there's no excuse not to come out and join in the fun! Hope to see you in B-ville this Saturday!
