Trying to reason with Hurricane Season

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Tampa Properties

Trying to Reason With Hurricane Season is a song by Jimmy Buffett.  One of my personal all time favorites, but a song that was never a really big hit during his career.

With the official "end" of Hurricane Season today, Hurricane Season runs from June 1 - November 30th each year for those who don't live in areas where this is vital information to know, the song Trying to Reason with Hurricane Season seemed appropriate to share.

This version features the original score from the song, paired with photo's in and around Block Island, Rhode Island after Hurricane Sandy passed by at the end of October.

According to NOAA Weather, this past Hurricane season was typical, with 19 named storms overall, but fortunately only three reached major category status, and only Sandy hit this United States with a major impact.  Unfortunately, the New Jersey and New York areas where she did impact are major population centers and are also an areas not accustomed nor prepared to deal with such a storm and the resulting devastation!

I wish them a speedy recovery and will enjoy the next 6 months of calm Atlantic and Caribbean weather prior to the beginning of the next Hurricane season in June 2013.

The rest of you watch out for earthquakes, blizzards, ice storms, tornado's and flooding; all acts of nature that we here in Tampa, Florida do not normally experience!

Jimmy could make a song out of anything!

Thanks for the heads up on the end of the season. It sounds like you guys had a less violent season which I am sure is a good thing down in your area!
