In the Good Old Day's you would call an agent to get feedback on a listing of yours and they would gladly give it to you. In the Good Old Days, that feedback would be structured to help you to SELL the property. Whatever happened to the Good Old Days?
Today, you'll get a call from several agents to show your property. You'll answer the phone. Set up the appointment. Your client calls and asks you what the agents/clients thoughts were on their property, and YOU don't have the answer!!! Not Good!
You call again. No answer. No reply. Not Good!
You email. No answer. No reply. Not Good!
You fax a feedback sheet. No answer. No reply. Not Good!
Our Clients Deserve Better!!! Our clients deserve the best service that we can provide the, but often there are agent's that won't allow us to do our job to the best of our ability. There are clients that actually want to sell their property at the highest price possible, and your opinion does help.
I recently received a phone call from an agent and the agent didn't leave a message. I returned the call and left a message "This is Ray Nellum. I am returning your call, but you didn't leave me a message." The agent call me back and said, "Ray I don't usually leave a message when seeking feedback because I never get the call returned." I laughed because I've been in that situation so many times before myself.
We are all in the business to provide a living for ourselves and our families. It's important to remember. Other Realtors are in this business to do the same. It only takes a few minutes of our time to provide the necessary feedback that may help to sell a property. Good or Bad. That's just part of the job.
Our IMAGE isn't just left up to the individual. It's up to all of us to keep the Realtor name growing with pride! How many of you need the feedback?
