I Really Need Your FEEDBACK!!! My Client Deserves It...

By
Real Estate Agent with Envision Real Estate Group, LLC.

Ft. Smith Real EstateIn the Good Old Day's you would call an agent to get feedback on a listing of yours and they would gladly give it to you.  In the Good Old Days, that feedback would be structured to help you to SELL the property.  Whatever happened to the Good Old Days?

Today, you'll get a call from several agents to show your property.  You'll answer the phone.  Set up the appointment.  Your client calls and asks you what the agents/clients thoughts were on their property, and YOU don't have the answer!!!  Not Good!

You call again.  No answer. No reply.  Not Good!

You email.  No answer.  No reply.  Not Good!

You fax a feedback sheet.  No answer.  No reply.  Not Good!

Our Clients Deserve Better!!!  Our clients deserve the best service that we can provide the, but often there are agent's that won't allow us to do our job to the best of our ability.  There are clients that actually want to sell their property at the highest price possible, and your opinion does help.

I recently received a phone call from an agent and the agent didn't leave a message.  I returned the call and left a message "This is Ray Nellum.  I am returning your call, but you didn't leave me a message."  The agent call me back and said, "Ray I don't usually leave a message when seeking feedback because I never get the call returned."  I laughed because I've been in that situation so many times before myself.

We are all in the business to provide a living for ourselves and our families.  It's important to remember.  Other Realtors are in this business to do the same.   It only takes a few minutes of our time to provide the necessary feedback that may help to sell a property.  Good or Bad.  That's just part of the job.

Our IMAGE isn't just left up to the individual.  It's up to all of us to keep the Realtor name growing with pride!  How many of you need the feedback?

When looking for a Realtor in this market; you need to be assured that your Realtor knows YOUR market!!!  Looking for Real Estate in the Ft. Smith, AR and River Valley Area.  Remember, "To Buy or Sell'um, Call Ray Nellum!"  479-414-1895

I was taught in the SRS class that buyers' agents do not owe us feedback and we shouldn't expect it.  Unless the buyers are submitting an offer do we really need to hear all the reasons they don't like the house?

Most agents I've had contact with do leave complete voice mail messages, I can't imagine an agent not wanting to at least leave a brief message.

I have had some agents provide feedback on my personal residence.  It does wonders if there are some things you may not have seen that would help it sell better.

Ray - I know how frustraing this can be, it is rather awkward having to call the seller and explain I have no feedback because the agent failed to callback.

Anthony, thanks for the comment and the great suggestion!

Jennifer E., I think the feedback can help to move a property.  It's just the different perspective that is sometimes needed.  Thanks for the comment.

Mellissa, in most cases we should hold our breath.  Thanks for the comment.

Latonia, feedback is great.  It let's sellers know what buyers are saying about their property.  Thanks for stopping by.

Jennifer, it does get awkward.  Thank you for your comment.

Ray:  How true, how true! Great post and feedback is crucial.  It does seem that I have to go after more and more agents to get their feedback these days.
