Serious Sunday

Sometimes It All Just Clicks

Sometimes the picture we take isn’t quite right. For a long time now I have wanted to become proficient with Aperture and the wonderful features it has available for enhancing, fixing or simply making the picture better.

I titled this post “Serious Sunday” because I had one of those “Ah Ha” moments on the clone feature in Aperture and decided it was time to get “serious” about learning this program.

I am working on removing the polish residue from this picture. It is taking me

longer than I expected and I am putting a tease out here. This is the original. Once I get the clean copy done, I will post them together for a “before and after”.

For size perspective, it is located on the front of the house between windows.

Hope you enjoyed your day; serious or silly; however it turned out.

Still waiting on the 'clicking' to happen when running a camera. I forget to just start taking the pictures and then look later.

Than, it helps to think like the director of a play when taking pictures. You want to tell a story. At least with real estate, you can pay attention to light and shadows knowing that the house isn't going to move once you have it framed in your shot.

The wonderful thing about digital it lets you take more pictures than you need and be selective later when posting. I typically take 3 or 4 times more pictures because in the end, about 40% are good to use and 10% are great.

Telling the story through the pictures helps put up a great listing that will get attention and appointments.

Have fun.
