The penthouse had been owned by George Teichner, the father of "The Real Housewives of New York" Aviva Drescher. The penthouse home had been featured in a number of episodes of the Bravo reality TV show.
According to records, Mr. Teichner purchased the penthouse in 1999 from the developer for $927,000. The purchaser is reported to be a buyer from Argentina.
