Duane, yes short sales can be very difficult, but if one is patient and understands how the banks tend to operate(or NOT operate) that is half the battle.  The buyer also needs to be in a position where they can wait the bank out and not have deadlines to meet or they are likely to walk if the particular bank is terrible at communication.  Consumers need to interview agents and you have given your Appleton area residents a great opportunity to begin the process.
