Our Snow Reporter Big Dave* said in this report:
6:00am The snow has been coming down steady all night long and it is still falling as we speak. The 6" that fell overnight on top of all the soft snow around the Resort will leave us with some fantastic turns today. We got to ski blower powder all weekend and today we get to surf a nice light Big Mountain Cream.
Ullr has been smiling on Whitefish so far this winter with measurable snow for the last 6 days. Even though early season conditions exist the coverage off groomed has been great. We are skiing lines that usually don't come in till after Christmas. Go get your favorite run right away today because it is going to be good.
Every night we seem to get snow for our groomers to manicure into beautiful corduroy for you to enjoy. Since it is still coming down out there expect the groomers to be covered with a smooth layer of fresh POW.
Not an experienced POW ripper? Take a powder specific lesson from our Ski School here at the Resort and rent some Fat Skis as well.
Another POW Day, Huzzah-Big Dave
