Local Coffee Shop and Bakery in Palm Valley, Goodyear
I love to support local businesses and it’s super easy to do when the business has great customer service and great products.
Sugar ‘N’ Spice is exactly that in the Palm Valley area of Goodyear. Located in a somewhat isolated complex at the corner of Indian School Road and Wigwam Blvd., Sugar ‘N Spice has become a favorite place for locals to get their coffee and treats. Owners Ken and Manilla have built a very successful business by providing outstanding customer service along with great food and beverages.
I, along with my husband and my two dogs, visit Sugar ‘N Spice on most Saturday and Sunday mornings. We love walking from our house over to the coffee shop for our beverages (my husband
doesn’t drink coffee; black and white hot chocolate is his winter favorite) and to share a cinnamon bun amongst the four of us. I swear it’s the highlight of my dogs’ week! They seem to know it’s Saturday and they can’t wait to get there. Ken even has all his staff trained to bring out the water when we get there. Our bigger dog, Aja, laps up that water like it’s the best water on earth. We’ve made new friends by sitting out on the patio every weekend and getting to know all the other regulars.
Ken arrives in the middle of the night to start baking all the goodies for the day. As well as the baked goods, you can also get sandwiches for breakfast and lunch, specialty cakes, smoothies, coffee drinks, and other beverages. I probably haven’t listed everything.
If you live in the Palm Valley area and you haven’t been to Sugar ‘N Spice yet, I highly recommend it. If you're looking at houses for sale in Palm Valley maybe having a locally owned coffee shop and bakery in the area will convince you that this is the neighborhood for you.
Sugar 'N Spice is open Monday to Friday from 6am to 6pm, Saturdays from 6am to 3pm and Sundays from 7am to 2pm. Click on their logo above to visit their Facebook Page for more information and 'like' their page to stay up to date with holiday hours and specials.
