No cartoons but lots of fun and games, catching up on loose ends on Saturday mornings at the Maine real estate office.

Calls to set up next week's real estate closings and to track down all the last minute details happens.

So does hunt and pecking Maine real estate blogs like this one on Active Rain. And other Maine real estate blog locations. Adjusting property listing prices that have been made more attractive. To lead the market and be pro-active and not stuck in the mud waiting.

Preparing next week's local real estate ad part of the slurping coffee, listening to XM and handling office duties when the pace is different. The routine not the same as the other days of the week listing, marketing Maine real estate.

Office visits happen and processing emails, answering machine calls for real estate requests. Real estate is a year round event because people have lives that don't stop for the tinsel, peanut brittle, fudge and ho ho ho for the holidays. In fact, maine lighthouses nubble york mereal estate decisions are often made when families get together for the Christmas and New Year holiday tag team of celebrations.

What to do with mom's home that is way way too big and expensive to heat since Dad died.

Or to cut those steps that are harder and harder to climb up and down out of a loved ones housing life.

Or the transfer, relocation to or from Houlton Maine means gotta take care of or find a new roof for overhead.

Different real estate needs depending on the place in the life of everyone we help with property listings needs.

There are always Maine real estate blog subjects needs addressing too in addition to adding new property listings to websites.

And linked to social media outlets around the globe. Because today's real estate professional has to harness, work the media platforms creatively and daily. Like up making the donuts, milking the cows constant. Doing the real estate chores cheerfully to broadcast far beyond the local zip code of where the property listings actually are located on the planet.

Today's Me In Maine blog post about a trip to a ME lighthouse snuck, squeezed in along the way living up here in one of the big corner states. Located in the right hand corner of the country, parked next to Canada which is a border we cross a lot to enjoy the International benefit. Of living where Maine is lucky to be located and with all she has to offer all four seasons.

It is fun to visit other parts of Maine too.

And think about the real estate market, the subtle and not always so minor differences that happen here and there. The approach we would take if we suddenly lived  elsewhere in Maine and had to fine tune, adjust the "sales" to marketing the property listings a little differently.

Maine, don't stay away so long!
