My Heart Is Heavy
With the shocking news of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut my heart is heavy. I don’t want to listen, but yet I do and my heart is heavy. I ponder how it's possible that innocent babies are taken by a single miserable lost soul and my heart is heavy.
I know those innocent little souls are now in their eternal home safe with the Lord in Heaven. We fervently pray for the families left to grieve, cope and wonder forever how and why such an unjust and heinous act could have taken place. May they find some semblance of peace in the days, weeks, months and years to come. As the sun sets on this December 14, 2012 my heart is heavy.
