Bittersweet

Richard, it is ok to be sad, and we are very sad right now. I love your prose and the picture fits so perfectly. Today we are hosting the annual hayride on the green, we will be surrounded by children. I have very, very mixed emotions about this, my sadness is almost overwhelming.

Sometimes sadness is unavoidable.  I take the time to deal with it, and eventually make the move to get away from it.  Have a blessed day!

Richard we are all sad, very very sad right now.  Sadness is part of life as you say beautifully shared.

We are...only human and have the ability to feel the sadness others may be experiencing. I cried.

Between horrific events in the world, and peronsal losses at home, this has been a rough holiday season. When I was crying over the loss of my pet to someone the other day, I said, "This is really just a testament to how much she meant in my life.  How much she was loved."  With the good emotions, come the sad.  It's inevitable.

I pray my journey is filled with more good days than tough days.
