Live Animals at Christmas Eve Services at Hosanna! Lutheran Church, Lakeville, MN

Look out....you may get spit on! You are just never sure what the camel may do during Christmas Eve Service at Hosanna! Lutheran Church in Lakeville, MN.

This is the third year that the Stable's sights and smells are there for you to experience as you worship, just as it was the night Christ was born.

Camels, donkeys, ducks, goats, ducks and more. It may be a noisy night but perhaps it was for Baby Jesus as well

There are NINE worship services to fit your travel or family tradition schedule:

Christmas Eve Worship Services at Hosanna! Lutheran Church, Lakeville, MN

Sunday, December 23 • 2, 4, & 6 p.m.
Monday, December 24 • 12, 2, 4, 6, 8, & 10 p.m.

A very blessed Christmas to you and your family.

I come from Henry County in Kentucky which has the small town Bethlehem...there is a living Nativity Scene there every Christmas...I guess they still do that. People come from different states just to mail letters from there at Christmastime.

Nothing beats the live Nativity that I've seen several times at Radio City Music Hall.  This sounds like a close second Shar, very cool!

Oh My!  Things can always get interesting when live critters are used for anything.  It sure sets the stage for how things were over 2,000 years ago.  No luxuries for the King of Kings!

I really like live nativity scenes. I think it helps little children and sometimes big kids relate on just how things really were.

It is fun Alan, Merry Christmas to you!

These animals aren't outside Lynda. They are on stage and stay there for 2 days! It is a huge mega church of about 10,000 members that I attend but they will have about 40,000 people come through for their Christmas services.

This is just animals....no people Roger. Well...except the Pastor. Ha

You never know what animals will do John! LOL. The King was born with all the smells of nature.

Thank you Teral, same to you.

Thank you Lisa....I am blessed every time I enter that church.

Exactly Sussie, smells and all.

Shar -- I love seeing the "live" nativity scenes and think it really brings back the true spirit of what Christmas is all about, after all :-)
