The words and expressions  Maine real estate agents, brokers, REALTORS rattle off are many, varied, definitely colorful.

But tried and tested life lessons learned wearing the "R", the hardest working letter in the entire alphabet make the lingo foreign to someone not in the habit of being around the listing, selling real estate in Maine process.

To provide a map, direction, guidance in the Maine real estate process.

Like in any fast moving, ever changing industry today, on line, the print and on air, cable news means property buyers and sellers are pummeled with Maine real estate jargon.

All around them being bombarded with predictions, opinions that may not actually represent the way we roll in Maine real estate wise.

Every national real estate market is so different.

Just like one USA weather forecast does not "one size fits all" areas, every nook and cranny of the country.

Today's expression for Maine real estate "the higher the price, the thinner the buyers".

A fact of life that as the number of maine lobster traps christmas tree photozero places in the price tag hanging off a Maine property listing goes skyward, the supply of folks able to swing the real estate thin out.

The local lower job pay scale is the anchor for the typical home price in Maine.

And fixed retirement incomes help govern the throttle on outside Maine waterfront and farm property buyers.

Recreational Maine land is plentiful in a state with 11 people per square mile in the north and 44 folks in the same unit in the southern sections.

So the bigger supply keeps the Maine property prices attractive, affordable all the time.

Without spikes up and down to rock the boat. Shock and awe the market for Maine real estate.

But usher in the media machine.

Fire it up and quickly learn that on line means the market for Maine real estate buyers is not just contained in the local handful of zip codes.

Or a few down country, in state buyers alone any more. The Maine real estate market is the world.

The only limitations are being plain lazy, not creative or flexible to embrace new on line media options.

Using lots of passion.

To do it more completely, quickly to save time and money for everyone involved in the real estate list and sell process.

To have a little fun, sprinkled with a pinch of humor. To spread the word on what it is like to live in Maine first. Then to one by one usher out groups of Maine real estate listings to show and tell.
