Why Should I Stage My Lake Havasu Home?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX by the Lake

When you stage your Lake Havasu home before you sell, you will sell it for more money in less time than if you didn't. Brenda & Willie Gonzalez offer home staging for free as part of their real estate services. It's a great time to sell your Lake Havasu home.  The amount of foreclosures on the market has lessened over the past few months, which is good news for traditional home sellers.  There is still a lot of competition on the market for buyer's dollars, though.  So, you need to stand out from the rest of the homes available.  That's where staging your Lake Havasu home comes in.

What is home staging?  This is the process of arranging furniture, artwork, decorations, etc. so that they highlight a Lake Havasu home's assets while diminishing its flaws.  Studies have shown that a furnished home sells much quicker than a vacant home.  That's because most buyers need help to picture themselves in a space.  These homes sell even faster when they have been staged before a potential buyer sees them.

You can go ahead and spend hundreds of dollars on a professional home stager.  The money is worth the investment if you really want to sell your home faster.  However, when you hire the "G" Force, you get more than real estate agents.  You actually get a built in professional home staging team.  As an Accredited Staging Professional, Brenda has been trained to bring out the best each room in your home has to offer.  She can create a warm, inviting atmosphere where potential buyers will feel welcome and want to make it their own.  This can not only get your home sold quicker, it can also get it sold for closer to the asking price than if you didn't stage it.  And it's all done absolutely free of charge when you hire the "G" Force to sell your property.

Why should you stage your Lake Havasu home before you sell it?  Simple.  You'll garner more interest, sell your home in a shorter time frame and get more money for it than if you hadn't staged it.  When you can get a knowledgeable sales team that can stage your home as well, you know you've found the right people for the job.  Contact us today so we can get started on selling your Lake Havasu home now.

You know you are right.  I havent been a fan of staging.  Saw some really dorky examples early on.  However have just had an experience with a seller who did stage her investment house herself and it really did help.  It also gave her an excuse to go to yard sales!   I am put off when a house looks "stagy"  but when it is just good accents it helps.

One thing that happens in our town is the bar gets raised bit by bit. It is common now for most realtors to stage. I happen to be accredited so I am 100% dedicated to staging. I do know what you mean about some looking "dorky". I have seen some of those. Good luck and if you have questions I would love to help. Call me anytime at 928-505-5478.
